Training for ksdd phase 3: grappling, ground and close combat

So from both my experience, research, and anecdotes I can assess that one third or more (33.33 to 38.75%)ground fights or grapples a knife will be drawn often times poorly. Now because of one’s reaction ability to a knife in close proximity I do point out medical again. But I also realized that 45 to 55% of knife assaults the perpetrators wear a sleeved shirt or jacket and 40% involve a grab of some sort. So SAMBO, Judo/Jiu Jutsu and Chin Na work quite well for a good portion of these. There are many more namely catch wrestling and Ninpo Taijutsu. Of course Silat, Harinau. and Dumog/Kali work well here as well.
